Created in 1978, Culture Lanaudière is the only regional independent non-profit organization whose mandate is to provide support to artists, artisans and cultural workers and contribute to their professionalization. Culture Lanaudière aids the development and consolidation of the arts and culture by bringing together people and organizations from various cultural and artistic backgrounds or related sectors with an interest in promoting culture in all its forms. Culture Lanaudière is also the first cultural organization in Canada to receive a Strategic Governance attestation.
