It's an old colonial village with a winding rue Principale lined with magnificent, imposing ice sculptures for its winter festival, Saint-Côme en Glace. The village is also worth a visit for the Chute-à-Bul regional park, the Louis-Philippe-De Grandpré park for its mountain bike and fat bike trails, the Swaggin trail, and canoeing and kayaking on the Rivière L'Assomption with Canot Volant. Nearby, you'll find the L'Assomption Welcome Station, the gateway to Mont-Tremblant National Park. Not far away is one of Quebec's largest ski resorts:
