The Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA) Open House is back, inviting Quebecers to discover dozens of local businesses in their region. And guess what? Lanaudière is no exception!
On Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., several local farms will open their doors wide to offer you a day full of agritourism discoveries. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet passionate producers, sample the bounty of our region, and enjoy an unforgettable time in the countryside. Here are the host farms and businesses to explore during the Open House. Plenty of activities await visitors of all ages.
JARDINS ARÔMES ET SAVEURS | SAINTE-MÉLANIE
Come and soak up the scents, discoveries, and tranquility at Jardins Arômes et Saveurs. During the Open House, you can take part in an educational workshop on medicinal plants, meet farm animals, sample delicious products made with lavender and herbs, pick your own produce, and enjoy the friendly, musical atmosphere. Here, there are no pesticides or herbicides: everything is grown by hand, with respect for nature and a constant focus on sustainability. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with the earth, the growers, and the bounty it offers us.

GRAND DÉRANGEMENT DISTILLERY | SAINT-JACQUES
From the fields to the bottle, the Grand Dérangement Distillery invites you to discover another side of agriculture in the Lanaudière region. Based in Saint-Jacques, the company is involved in both crop farming and spirits production. A tour here will give you a better understanding of how locally grown ingredients are transformed into authentic local products.
MIEL DE CHEZ NOUS | SAINTE-MÉLANIE
Founded in 1969, this beekeeping farm invites you to dive into the fascinating world of bees through an interpretation center, an observatory, and an educational program that’s as fun as it is informative. TERRE DES BISONS | RAWDON
On September 13, head to Rawdon for an immersive experience in the impressive world of big game at Terre des Bisons. Spanning 400 acres, this family-run farm raises about 100 bison and 15 elk with the utmost respect for nature. During the open house, you’ll be able to explore the interpretive center, watch an immersive 180-degree projection, sample homemade products, meet the animals, enjoy the kids’ play area, take a tractor ride, and let the music lull you into a peaceful state. MONDOR VINEYARD | LANORAIE
Immerse yourself in the world of winemaking at a family-run farm that has been in operation for four generations. With 40,000 vines spread across 35 acres, this vineyard produces approximately 60,000 kg of grapes each year, all of which are processed on-site into delicious wines. During the open house, you can participate in an educational workshop, pick your own grapes, and taste the estate’s wines in an idyllic setting. Here, they rely on homemade compost, mechanical weeding, and the natural protection provided by snow to cultivate their vines with respect for the environment.
