1804 THE EVENT | SEPTEMBER 5 AND 6 IN TERREBONNE
Want to step back in time for a weekend? On September 5 and 6, Île-des-Moulins in Terrebonne takes you back to the era of the fur trade with “1804: The Event.” Come meet the travelers of the North West Company and discover a fascinating chapter of our history through activities, shows, dance, workshops, demonstrations, and much more. A wonderful family outing to end the summer on a historical note… but far from boring!
REPENTIGNY OKTOBERFEST | SEPTEMBER 11 TO 13
From September 11 to 13, Repentigny’s Oktoberfest returns for three days of discoveries and festivities. Much more than just a gathering for craft beer lovers, the event brings the whole family together for a carnival, music and comedy shows, great food, tastings, and a host of activities. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy Repentigny’s festive atmosphere and raise a glass to the arrival of fall!

CHAPO – INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF PUBLIC ENTERTAINERS | SEPTEMBER 18 TO 20 IN MASCOUCHE
From September 18 to 20, the heart of Mascouche’s village center transforms into a massive open-air stage for CHAPO, the International Street Performers Festival. Considered the largest gathering of street performers in Canada, the event welcomes professional artists from around the world to present unique street performances. The best part? The festivities are free! So young and old alike can come enjoy the atmosphere and be amazed by the artists who bring downtown to life.

ARTISANS FESTIVAL | SEPTEMBER 19 AND 20 IN SAINTE-MARCELLINE-DE-KILDARE
On September 19 and 20, head to Sainte-Marcelline-de-Kildare to celebrate local talent at the Festival des Artisans. Now a must-attend event in Lanaudière, the festival brings together artisans showcasing their craft and local products. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover their craftsmanship, find some great treasures, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere that fills the town for the weekend. Who knows, you might even leave with a little handmade treasure that steals your heart!

Val Saint-Côme Festival of Colors | September 19–October 11 in Saint-Côme
From September 19 to October 11, fall reaches new heights at the Val Saint-Côme Resort! The Festival des couleurs gives you a great reason to go admire the Lanaudière region’s landscapes as they take on shades of red, orange, and yellow. The program features mountain hikes, chairlift rides, helicopter tours, craft and farm-to-table food booths, inflatable games, and outdoor activities. It’s the perfect outing to get some fresh air with the family and see the fall colors from above!
ARA FÉRIA | September 26 through October 11 in Saint-Calixte
This fall, ARA Féria returns to 45 Degrés Nord in Saint-Calixte for three action-packed weekends: September 26 and 27, October 3 and 4, and October 10 and 11. More than 45 stations offering educational, immersive, and fun activities await the whole family in the heart of nature. On the agenda: a forest maze, an observation tower, giant games, a zip line, inflatable games, go-karts, an obstacle course, and even a new mini-golf course. Add to that entertainment and shows, and you’ve got a fall outing where the kids might not want to leave!

FRISSONS FESTIVAL | OCTOBER 15 TO 17 IN MASCOUCHE
From October 15 to 17, get ready for goosebumps at the Mascouche Frissons Festival! Terrifying clowns, skeletons, zombies, ghosts, and other eerie characters take over the venue in animated worlds filled with sets and thousands of lights. For a milder dose of fear, the illuminated trail promises just enough thrills to appeal to the general public. Admission is free, so round up your friends and come see if you’re as brave as you claim to be!
