A wonderful place to discover! Designed by renowned architect Pierre Thibault, the monastery is in harmony with the nature that surrounds it. It is a real architectural masterpiece where wood and slate are in the spotlight. On March 1, 2009 the community of monks well known for their Oka cheese made their home there. The territory of the Abbey covers 187 hectares surrounded by nature. The site also includes a Store which offers you the Delights of the Monastery as well as a multitude of local Quebec products. You also have the opportunity to discover what the forest has to offer by participating in guided hikes or culinary workshops. We should not forget either the trails for hiking as well as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter.
