Our Commitments
Motor sports
Motor sports are an integral part of Lanaudière’s identity. However, taking part in them presents very specific challenges. To maintain the clubs’ social acceptance, ensure the safety of users and protect the trails, a framework is beneficial.
Objectives:
- To reduce risky behaviour (speeding, drunk-driving, off-trail riding)
- To safeguard rights-of-way
- To promote safety equipment and guidelines
Non-motorised outdoor activities
The growing popularity of outdoor activities is bringing an increasing number of visitors. The code aims to preserve natural environments and promote harmonious coexistence among users.
Objectives:
- To protect wildlife, flora and trails
- To better inform first-time visitors
- To encourage courtesy among users
Mountain activities (skiing, cycling, snow sports)
Recreational sites such as ski resorts, sledding hills, and mountain bike trails attract large crowds in environments that are often very busy. The code provides a framework for managing these areas to ensure their safety, respect, and sustainability.
Objectives:
- Ensure safety and respect at these sites

- Encourage environmentally responsible behavior
Hunting and fishing
