This 30-km stretch is just a portion of the 120 km network of cycling trails available in the area. It offers beautiful countryside and city landscapes, lined with perfectly preserved historical buildings. You’ll take in breathtaking views, notably at Île-des-Moulins, riding alongside the Mille Îles River. This former seigneury immerses you in a historical atmosphere and offers picnic areas where you can enjoy a well-deserved break. You can also take in Vieux-Terrebonne where you’ll find a vast choice of trendy European-style restaurants and bistros. Farther north, the Seigneurie des Plaines is a 21.5 km network that links to the famous P’tit Train du Nord bike path. To get there, make your way through the cities of Terrebonne, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines and Blainville. You’ll see spectacular natural environments, such as the large peat bog in Blainville, and ride along the Mascouche River and the Ruisseau La Corne. You’ll also pass through the Sainte-Claire forest. Pedalling through natural parks and residential neighborhoods, some located along the road, other in forested areas, cyclists will appreciate this circuit that allows them to reach the bike paths in Oka, Outaouais, the South Shore and ever the Route Verte.
