Summer theatres in Lanaudière
Théâtre du Vieux-Terrebonne
Symphorien (In French only)
June 30 to July 31, 2022
After more than 40 years, it was time! Symphorien, the endearing building superintendent and father of 14, had his heyday in the cult Quebec TV series of the 70’s. Now in 2022, the popular comedy by Marcel Gamache has been adapted for the stage for the very first time. The play stars Nathalie Mallette, Martin Héroux and Patrice Coquereau as well as François Chénier in the title role. Enjoy the adventures of these colourful characters, back at long last!
Le grand virage (In French only)
June 16 to July 30, 2022,
Mario Jean and Diane Lavallée share the stage in Le grand virage, a comedy where dreams of retirement collide. Set to begin a new chapter of life, Simon and Sandra sell off most of their belongings. Simon wants to live a bohemian life in Hawaii, while Sandra wants to spend her time painting and writing by the river. But nothing is simple! Alas, their seemingly foolproof plans are thrown into disarray by confessions from their children (Jean-Carl Boucher and Mylène St-Sauveur) as they chat over video. A new play by Mario Jean.
