Chute-à-Bull Regional Park | Saint-Côme
Come and check out the impressive 20-metre-high waterfall, along with your dog. It’s easily accessible and worth making your way to the very foot of the falls. There’s also a lookout point near the Refuge du Belvédère, where the view of the surrounding mountains is spectacular. Dogs are allowed everywhere in the park, but must be on a leash at all times.
Municipal trails in Saint-Donat
Whether you’re exploring the Montagne Noire, Mont Sourire , Mont Ouareau, Cap de la Fée or any other trail in the municipality of Saint-Donat, leashed dogs are welcome. There are trails of varying difficulty and length to suit hikers of all skill levels. Access to all of these trails is free.
Saint-Lin-Laurentides recreation and tourism park
Accessible free of charge, this park is a great place to immerse yourself in the heart of nature, not far from the city. You’ll find interpretative signs, picnic areas and footbridges. Dogs on a leash are welcome. Choose from five hiking trails that lead to three lakes and enjoy observing a multitude of bird species.
Chutes du Calvaire Regional Park | Mandeville
Totalling 4 km, the trail that takes you to the falls features six lookouts with different viewpoints. Dogs on a leash are allowed.
Sept-Chutes Regional Park | Saint-Zénon
Head up to the mountaintops with your four-legged friend and enjoy stunning views from the lookout points. The Parc régional des Sept-Chutes offers several trails for hiking enthusiasts. The Mont Brassard trail is one of the best in the region. Dogs are not allowed in the shelters.
The Slye and Lac Kaël trails | Sainte-Émélie-de-l'Énergie
Get really close to nature exploring the 10 km of forest trails at Lac Kaël. The Slye trails offer an additional 7 km.
Saint-Félix-de-Valois outdoor trails
Dogs on a leash are allowed along the two hiking trails maintained by the municipality of Saint-Félix-de-Valois.
Chutes de Monte-à-Peine-et-des-Dalles Regional Park | Sainte-Mélanie, Sainte-Béatrix and Saint-Jean-de-Matha
Leashed dogs are permitted at all three entry points to the Parc régional des Chutes de Monte-à-Peine-et-des-Dalles. Here there are 21 km of intermediate-level hiking trails. A dog entry fee applies.
Brandon Trails | Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon
Discover 27 km of trails with lookouts and rest areas. Dogs are welcome.
Parc du Grand-Coteau | Mascouche
Some 20 km of trails are available at Parc du Grand-Coteau. Dogs are welcome on the Émilie-Mondor trails, with the exception of the playground area and the trails around the two ponds. A maximum of two dogs per person is allowed, and dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Learn more about the regulations governing the presence of dogs in the park here.
Lac Taureau Regional Park | Saint-Michel-des-Saints
Discover Baie Dominique, Baie du Milieu and Île du Village on the numerous dog-friendly hiking trails. You can see the vast expanse of majestic Lac Taureau from the many vantage points.
Walking trails in the Abbaye Forest| Saint-Jean-de-Matha
Dogs are welcome on the Abbey walking trails in summer and fall. From April 15 to the first snowfall, dogs are allowed along the Abbaye Forest hiking trails, but not on the snowshoeing or cross-country skiing trails, to facilitate winter trail maintenance.
Forêt Ouareau Regional Park | Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci
The Parc régional de la Forêt Ouareau covers an area of over 150 sq. km. There are various entry points where you can access many trails of varying difficulty and length. The Contreforts trail is one of the park’s most popular routes. Dogs are allowed on the entire trail network, but not in the shelters.
Lac en coeur trails | Mandeville
Hikers can enjoy 10 km of trails dotted with scenic views at Lac en Cœur in Mandeville. Dogs are welcome.
Trails of the SCIRBI | Berthierville
Dogs on a leash are allowed on the three trails of the SCIRBI. Some 9.7 km in length, they are an ideal place to observe a wide range of bird species.
Pépinière Villeneuve | L'assomption
Head out on a beautiful hike in the heart of the maple grove forest! Interpretive signs along the five themed trails (one of which is called “Alice in Wonderland”) give information about the site’s flora and fauna. Bring a picnic and enjoy nature as a couple, with friends or with the family. Don’t forget the pooch!
Terre des Bisons | Rawdon
Visit the farm, enjoy a walk along the interpretive trail and stock up on farm-fresh products at the shop. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
