AFTER THE SHOW, WE MEET....
... in one of the city's charming riverside restaurants. Bâtiment B is located on Île-des-Moulins, and boasts one of the most beautiful terraces in town! La Confrérie is also an excellent choice for a festive bistro-style meal.
TOC TOC - THÉÂTRE HECTOR-CHARLAND
At Théâtre Hector-Charland, get ready to laugh yourself to tears (and maybe shed a little tear too) with TOC TOC, an irresistible comedy acclaimed the world over. The play features six characters suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder who, stuck in the waiting room of a psychiatrist who's running late, improvise a group therapy session that's as improbable as it is hilarious. Between an obsessive number cruncher, a neat freak, a verification enthusiast, someone with Tourette's syndrome, another who repeats everything in a loop, and a last one terrorized by diseases, the exchanges are explosive... and deeply human.
Directed by Pierre-François Legendre, this comedy by Laurent Baffie deftly juggles laughter, emotion and moments of tenderness. Produced by Monarque (Le Dîner de Cons, Les Voisins, Le Père Noël est une ordure), TOC TOC promises a memorable evening celebrating difference with great humor and humanity.
AFTER THE SHOW, WE MEET AGAIN...
... for a drink at Maître Edgar's, or on the intimate terrace of Taboo restaurant, two very different places where the mood is festive! You can also enjoy evenings at Ange Cornu, where the program is just as varied and interesting.
SERGE LAMA D'AVENTURES EN AVENTURES - CENTER CULTUREL DESJARDINS
Serge Lama hasn't said his last word... he's singing it. Initially planned as a farewell tour, Serge Lama will miss the stage. But true to his promise, the author of Je suis malade is back... in a whole new way. The biographical show SERGE LAMA - D'Aventures en aventures, imagined by Mélissa Cardona, retraces the singer's life through 22 of his greatest songs, with his full approval and collaboration.
On stage, actors embody Serge and the key figures in his life - those who influenced his art, forged his humanity and nurtured his resilience. Together, they recount a life marked by love, pain, humor, creation and, above all, an unshakeable will to move forward.
A vibrant tribute to a French chanson legend, celebrating the strength of a man... and the power of encounters.
AFTER THE SHOW, WE MEET AGAIN...
... at Bar G, offering a refined summer menu! Located in the Hôtel Château Joliette, Bar G (and Table G!) offers a spectacular view of the river. You can even walk there after the show - it's right next door! You can also treat yourself to an ice cream at Glace Nature or the Choco Chocolat dairy bar.
SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES - THÉÂTRE ALPHONSE-DESJARDINS
A series of murders shakes Devonshire. A mysterious beast prowls the English moors, stalking the heirs of the Baskerville family. To solve this dark mystery, Sherlock Holmes and his inseparable accomplice Watson put their legendary sense of deduction to the test... and their nerve!
Adapted with humor and madness by British troupe Peepolykus, this wacky version of Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles has been a hit in the UK since 2012. Now, Théâtre Advienne que Pourra has seized upon this theatrical gem to deliver a version as playful as it is dizzying, carried by three actors playing no fewer than fifteen characters. A delirious performance where mystery rhymes with laughter!
BEFORE THE SHOW, WE MEET...
...at the Piazzetta for a good pizza, the Liège Wine Bar for a drink in a friendly atmosphere. Or end the day at the Randolph Pub Ludique, where you can enjoy a variety of board games.
Don't miss out on the Lanaudière summer theatre season, and come and soak up some culture.
