LES DÉFIS DE SAINTE-ÉMÉLIE

As its name suggests, Les défis de Sainte-Émélie is a tour for experienced cyclists looking for a challenge. It is located in the hilly part of the Lanaudière region and passes through Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Sainte-Béatrix and Saint-Alphonse-de-Rodriguez. This beautiful 65 km loop allows you to admire part of the Rivière L'Assomption and Lac Cloutier. Why don't you take advantage of your ride to stop at the Sainte-Émélie-de-l'Énergie town beach for a swim?

BERTHIER ISLANDS CYCLE ROUTE

The Îles de Berthier cycling circuit offers cyclists some 80 km of riding through the region's countryside and villages. A ferry, La Traverse des îles, is available to cyclists.

Many people travel the iconic Chemin du Roy by car. But have you ever considered doing it by bike? As you cycle along the river from Saint-Sulpice to Lanoraie, via Lavaltrie, you'll see many ancestral homes and experience the historic, rural charm of these communities! You'll also pass through a number of vineyards before returning to the plain for a break in the charming town of L'Assomption.

THE TWO LAKES TOUR

Lac Ouareau and Lac Archambault are well known in Saint-Donat for their many water sports activities. Discover them in a different way by biking the winding, hilly Tour des deux lacs! CYCLING IN THE MOUNTAINS

What better way to discover the green valleys of Lanaudière than by bike! This 58 km route will take you through Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Sainte-Émélie-de-l'Énergie and Saint-Damien. Along the way, you'll discover many of the agritourism attractions featured on the Goûtez Lanaudière gourmet tours. This is your chance to take a well-deserved break, as the route is punctuated by several major climbs... that will leave a lasting impression on your legs!

NOTRE-DAME-DES-PRAIRIES CYCLING CIRCUIT

Discover the jewels of Notre-Dame-des-Prairies on 21 km of cycle paths. Discover the city by bike on this varied and original network of cycle paths. These routes take you along the magnificent Sentier Champêtre and across the footbridges between the rivers, offering breathtaking views of the Rivière L'Assomption.

THROUGH TOWN AND COUNTRY

Start your 110 km journey from Joliette and head north into the mountains. Explore the landscapes of Saint-Cléophas-de-Brandon and discover the beauty of the Bayonne River along the way. This tour offers a harmonious blend of city life, countryside, effort and fun.

JOLIETTE BIKE TRAILS

Joliette's 40 km of cycle tracks will take you along the river L'Assomption, through nature and urban life. Discover the Île Vessot park and its pedestrian bridge. In Saint-Charles-Borromée, stop at one of the two free beaches, ideal for a refreshing swim! If you'd like to extend your trip by bike, Joliette is linked to the surrounding villages by a 175 km network of cycle paths. Hours of fun are just around the corner!

TRANSTERREBONNE CIRCUIT

Ideal for families, the TransTerrebonne is about 50 kilometers long. Connecting the Laurentian and Lanaudière regions, this trail was designed and developed for cyclists, hikers and, in winter, cross-country skiers. There are 9 picnic areas and 21 rest stops for cyclists. The trail is part of the 120 km Véloroute des Moulins, which offers the public a sporting experience in harmony with flora and fauna. On this route, you'll pass by the Île-des-Moulins heritage site, with its historic buildings along the Mille-Îles river, and you can join the famous P'tit Train du Nord cycle route if you want to continue your journey.

SAINT-DONAT FAMILY CYCLE PATH

Ideal for short family outings, the Saint-Donat cycle path winds its way through the village and its many attractions. It starts at the Parc des Pionniers, where you can take advantage of the facilities, the watercraft rentals and the beach. Ideal for a full day of activities!

THE GREEN ROUTE IN LANAUDIÈRE

The creation of the Green Route is the result of an original collaboration between Vélo Québec, the Quebec government and regional partners. This 5,000-kilometre network connects several regions of Quebec. Follow the green route from Repentigny to Saint-Barthélemy. In the Lanaudière region, you'll find 82 km of bike paths, including paved shoulders, bike lanes and designated roads. Whether you're cycling close to home, returning several times a year, looking for a personal challenge or simply a leisure activity, the Route Verte will meet your needs.

CHUTE-AUX-RATS BIKE TRAIL (MONT-TREMBLANT NATIONAL PARK, SAINT-DONAT SECTOR)

In the heart of the forest, the 9.8 km gravel trail takes you to the magnificent Chute-aux-Rats, located in the Pimbina sector of Saint-Donat, Parc National du Mont-Tremblant. A perfect stop for a picnic!

LAC-DE-L'ASSOMPTION BIKE TRAIL (MONT-TREMBLANT NATIONAL PARK, SAINT-CÔME SECTOR)

Cycle around Lac de L'Assomption during your visit to the Parc National du Mont-Tremblant. This sector, accessible from Saint-Côme, offers a 7 km loop in the heart of nature, allowing you to discover a lesser-known sector of the popular park.

RAWDON BIKE TRAIL

Rawdon is the perfect getaway for biking and outdoor activities. A 6 km ride through the heart of town leads to attractions such as Lac Rawdon Beach and Dorwin Falls Park ($) with its trails, 60-metre waterfall and picnic areas. A full day of adventure awaits you in the heart of Lanaudière.
