Located on the banks of the Rivière des Mille-Îles, Île-des-Moulins is the original site of a magnificent seigniory. Numerous exhibitions, interpretive activities and events on the history of Terrebonne and the surrounding region highlight this enchanting site. A popular destination, Île-des-Moulins hosts dozens of events each year, including the Vins et Histoire de Terrebonne Festival, Le Grand Concert and Le Marché de Noël. Île-des-Moulins was declared a historic site by the Ministère des Affaires culturelles du Québec in 1973.

  • Schedule: Building and pontoon boat, June 23 to September 3, 2023 Wednesday to Friday, noon to 8pm Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5pm
  • Operation period: Year-round

  • Rates: Free access to site. Tour packages vary from $4 to $10.
